I’m an illustrator and adventurer who always finds inspiration in travels and good stories. Currently, my wanderlust has brought me to Chiang Mai, Thailand.

For the past eight years, I've been working as a children's book illustrator, but I've also tackled a variety of projects, including editorial illustration, interactive books, illustrations for websites and social media. I've collaborated with well-known US and UK publishers like Storytime Magazine and Windy Press, as well as independent authors and design studios.

My husband and I have lived in seven different countries, including Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey, and the Philippines. In some places, we spent only a few months; in others, we stayed for two years! Currently, I work in my cozy studio located between the bustling old town and the lush mountains.

When I'm not working, you can find me exploring nature, sipping milk tea, admiring sunsets, trying Asian street food, or making fun crafts.

“Any author looking for the absolute best illustrations for their children’s book has to do everything they can to work with Masha Klot. You won’t find a more imaginative and talented illustrator. The way she brings ideas to life is truly magical and unmatched by any other. To say she might be one of the top children’s book illustrators out there would be an understatement, but what truly sets Masha apart is her ability to format a book from start to final deliverables. Many authors have to hire an illustrator and a book formatter to get a high-quality finished product, but with Masha, you get both. From the initial storyboard and character development to detailed sketches, final illustrations, and print-ready files, she makes the entire process easy and ridiculously enjoyable. She is a master of her craft, working with type, negative space, cover design, spot illustrations, and full-spread masterpieces to create dynamic page-turners every single time.”

“Masha has been nothing short of amazing to work with. Communication is key in all things, and she is always punctual and prompt with her responses. I know I can always count on hearing from her each week. Masha is also extremely flexible. If I have an idea or change request, she handles it with ease. We have worked together on multiple projects, and I'd recommend her to anyone!”
